Parent Liaison

Provides supervisory monitoring of students before and after school and during lunch. Essential functions include monitoring students during bus drop off, arrival, and after school, monitoring halls during student arrival and during lunch, circulating throughout the cafeteria during breakfast and lunch periods, assisting with general food needs, and supporting student behavior management.

Qualifications include the ability to read and communicate in English, knowledge of school rules and expectations for student behavior, basic organizational and time management skills, basic oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, skill in handling difficult situations and upset individuals with tact, courtesy, and firmness, ability to identify students in need of assistance during meal periods, and ability to read, comprehend and apply written material and make decisions in accordance with applicable School Board policies and procedures.
