A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician
. Position Type: Full Time (Contract)
Duration: 12 months
Location: Jacksonville, FL
As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Perform the change, removal, replacement, or upgrade of aircraft components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Conduct troubleshooting of complex avionics, pneumatic, hydraulic, engine, and structural components and systems.
• Ensure validation/verification of testing systems and components.
• Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results).
• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight‑worthiness requirements.
• Perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aircraft.
• Provide Advanced Skills Management (ASM) certification to government personnel.
• Work under minimal supervision.
• Apply professional technical expertise to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufacturer's manuals.
• Perform all maintenance action IAW CNAFINST 4790.2 series processes and procedures.
• Identify material and special tools needs to accomplish daily work assignment.
• May be required to support detachments away from Main Operating Base (MOB).
• Complete temporary assignments to Whidbey Island, Washington for up to 8 weeks duration.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Active Secret clearance is required to start
• Minimum 5 years of experience in either military or civilian aircraft maintenance and/or production.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime; some positions may also be rotating shifts.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $38 to $42 per hour
