Job SummaryProfessional Engineer (PE) with 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, leading multi‑discipline planning, design, permitting, and construction projects for Florida municipal utilities.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage water and wastewater planning, evaluation, design, and construction to completion.
- Oversee multi‑discipline teams from inception through startup, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and profitability.
- Provide technical oversight of schematic/preliminary design through final design, specifications, permitting, bid‑phase services, and construction contract documents.
- Perform hydraulic modeling, master planning, detailed design calculations, alternative analysis, cost estimating, equipment selection, and CIP development.
- Mentor junior staff in technical and project‑management skills.
- Contribute to business development: identify opportunities, develop proposals, present to clients, and strengthen client relationships.
- Minimum 10 years in the municipal water/wastewater market with master planning, hydraulic modeling, system design, permitting, and construction services.
- Minimum 2 years as Project Manager leading multi‑discipline teams, delivering projects on time, on budget, and to client expectations.
- Excellent technical writing, verbal communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS, Info Water, Sewer
GEMs.
- Engineer‑of‑record experience for water or wastewater projects.
- Experience with cross‑market projects, trenchless pipeline design, utility modeling, and alternative delivery methods.
- Successful client management and business development in North Florida.
- Competitive salary ($100,000–$120,000).
