About APR Energy

APR Energy provides rapidly deployable mobile power solutions to utility and data center operators, offering emergency, bridging, and permanent energy options. For more than 20 years, APR Energy has partnered with customers around the world to deliver fast, reliable power using mobile gas turbines. The company creates unique value by executing large-scale projects in weeks or months—far faster than the 2–5 years typically required to construct permanent infrastructure.

About

the Role

APR’s Operation & Maintenance Team manages Power Plant Operations and maintains the full life cycle of the company’s power-generation assets, including gas turbines, alternators, and Balance of Plant. The Gas Turbine Mechanical Specialist plays a key role in Installation & Commissioning, Operations & Maintenance, and demobilization of TM2500 and FT-8 gas turbine units. Working closely with field engineers and technical crews, this position ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all mechanical systems supporting the fleet.

The Specialist will lead troubleshooting, repair, and inspection activities to resolve mechanical issues that impact turbine performance or availability. Responsibilities include planning and executing field repairs, coordinating semi-annual and annual inspections in accordance with OEM and company standards, reviewing field service and borescope reports, maintaining maintenance records, and ensuring high standards of workmanship and documentation across all assets.

This role collaborates with cross‑functional teams, including Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Balance of Plant, to develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with operational and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a multidisciplinary background combining mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems knowledge, with a primary focus on mechanical systems. The position requires willingness to travel up to 50% to support field service operations, maintenance campaigns, installations, and outage execution.
