Sr. Network Engineer

Skills Required

• Experience with Cloud Services (Azure, AWS)
• Experience with Core Cisco Nexus product line (9k, 7k, and 5k and Cisco ASR Routers)
• Experience with Software Defined Wide Area Networks (Fortinet, Cisco)
• Understanding of Firewall Technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)
• Understanding of Virtualization Technologies (VMware vSphere, Citrix Xen Server, Windows Hyper-V)
• Understanding of Load Balancing technologies (Citrix Net Scaler)

Experience Required

• The qualified candidate must have 10 YRS of experience with assessments, planning, network design, and hands-on implementation of network infrastructure solutions for highly visible/large enterprise clients.
• Previous Network Design experience in data center migrations: relocations, colocations, and consolidations projects.
• Previous Network Design experience with Data Center Interconnects (Client), Leaf/Spine Fabric, and VLAN-Stretching (Cisco OTV).
• Able to advise clients and implement new technologies for high-level designs and monitor performance based on specified project requirements.
• Possesses expert knowledge of the Cisco Nexus product line (9k, 7k, and 5k) and experience with Cisco ASR Routers and Cisco Catalyst switches.
• Possesses expert knowledge of routing Protocols BGP, OSPF, RIP, and EIGRP.
• Possess expert knowledge in Network Security including NX-OS/IOS hardening and implementations of GRE and IPSEC tunneling.
• In-depth knowledge of Network Architecture with demonstrated expert understanding of networking layers 2 and 3.
• Strong ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Logical and physical network diagramming.
• Work as a flexible team player - independently as well as collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
