Job Summary

At RQC, we are building careers by executing high‑impact projects and our headquarters in Carlsbad, CA supports a growing Engineering Department in Jacksonville, FL. We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the Electrical Engineering team in Jacksonville, FL, driving electrical design practices across multiple projects nationwide.

• Lead electrical design engineering practices for multiple unique projects across all regions of work performed by RQ.
• Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to shape future processes and leverage cutting‑edge technology.

Salary: $105,000 – $130,000 per year.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• P.E. license required
• 10+ years of electrical design experience within a consulting firm
• LEED AP preferred
• Experience with NEC, NESC, IEEE and IBC
• Experience with California Title 24 Energy Code
• Experience with BIM and Revit/AutoCAD required
• Experience with sustainable design
• Experience with Design Build and other alternative delivery practices desirable
• Experience with Government/DOD projects preferred
