NDT Level II MT/PT/UTT/VT Technician – Jacksonville, FL – FULL TIME

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking Full‑time NDT Level II MT/PT/UTT technicians for our Jacksonville, FL lab.

Applicants Must Provide
  • High School Diploma/GED/Degree
  • Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT
  • Previous level II certifications/OJT
Major Responsibilities / Activities
  • Set up and calibrate equipment.
  • Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).
  • Interpret, evaluate and document results.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I.
  • Be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the company.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Obtain and analyze information.
  • Edit and present numerical data effectively.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT‑TC1A for the following: MT, PT, UTT.
  • Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one (1) year experience, or prior certification as an NDE Level I technician with adequate field experience hours to certify to Level II per SNT‑TC1A.
  • Demonstrated competencies:

    • Oral communication – speak clearly and persuasively.
    • Written communication – edit and present numerical data.
    • Interpersonal skills – maintain confidentiality.
    • Planning / organization – prioritize and plan work using time management.
    • Adaptability – adapt to changes; manage competing demands.
    • Dependability – consistently at work on time; follow instructions; respond to management direction; solicit feedback to improve.
    • Quality – demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and monitor own work.
    • Safety – actively promote safety procedures; use all equipment and materials safely.
