Responsibilities- Lead and support assembly, disassembly, and overhaul of V-22 aircraft components for maintenance, modification, or repair purposes.
- Perform component replacements and upgrades to correct failures or implement technical changes.
- Configure and test aerospace vehicles and related bench test equipment to validate performance and system readiness.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems using established diagnostics procedures and test equipment.
- Conduct validation and verification testing on systems and components to ensure compliance with serviceability standards.
- Document all maintenance actions, including repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections to meet contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Perform flight-worthiness inspections and verify the serviceability of components before installation.
- Assist with discrepancy reconciliation and collaborate with engineering on any unresolved technical issues.
- Maintain strict adherence to FOD control, tool control, and safety protocols in an aircraft maintenance environment.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to less experienced technicians.
- Work independently under general direction.
- High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance
- Hands-on experience with V-22 aircraft maintenance and/or modification.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Experience in Depot-level modification programs for military or aerospace aircraft.
- Background in Quality Assurance within a maintenance or modification environment.
