Langan seeks a Highway / Roadway Engineer for its Jacksonville, FL office. Under the guidance of a Senior Engineer, you will design highways, freeways, and local roads, assist with permitting, and learn cross‑disciplinary engineering in a dynamic learning environment.

• Geometric design of highways, freeways, and local roads using national and local codes
• Concept layout and preliminary design of roads
• Preparation of construction plans
• Preparation of traffic signalization drawings and plans
• Design of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements
• Design of roadway drainage networks and preparation of stormwater management plans
• Construction specifications review and estimating of costs and quantities
• Preparation of Maintenance and Protection of Traffic plans (MPT)
• Use engineering equipment and design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Guidesign, AutoTURN, etc.) to prepare engineering and design documents
• Complete ADA inspections of constructed facilities
• Perform other duties as requested

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 0‑3 years of relevant work experience
• EIT certification or working toward Florida PE preferred
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing
