Senior Bridge Engineer Manager - FL Locations or Remote Options
Jacksonville, FL
Responsibilities- Work on multiple projects, meet schedules and budgetary requirements.
- Perform complete bridge design of major and minor bridges.
- Perform Bridge Load Ratings.
- Manage and direct Jr. Engineers and CADD designers.
- Apply AASHTO requirements and, preferably, FDOT requirements.
- Communicate effectively with contractors regarding construction work.
- Engage in business development, project pursuits, and preparation of proposals.
- Strong technical skills with previous project application evidence.
- Use sound engineering judgment to produce accurate calculations.
- Minimum 10 years of related experience.
- Experience in structural design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and prestressed concrete bridges.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills.
- Project management skills including client contact and relationship development.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
- Professional Engineer License in Florida or the ability to attain one.
