Senior Facilities Engineer - Oil & Gas Production

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Facilities Engineer to join their operations team in East London . This role is essential for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of their oil and gas production facilities. You will oversee the design, construction, and upkeep of processing plants, pipelines, and associated infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with stringent industry standards.

• Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new production facilities and equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot operational issues within the facilities and implement effective corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations relevant to the Oil & Gas sector .
• Manage facility upgrades, modifications, and debottlenecking projects to enhance efficiency and capacity.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance personnel.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities engineering within the Oil & Gas industry .
• Strong knowledge of process equipment, piping systems, rotating machinery, and control systems.
• Experience with project management, HAZOP studies, and P&t.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple priorities.
