Remote Director, Electrical Engineering required by an established, global data center owner & operator. This role would suit a Senior Electrical Engineer with data center design experience, looking to step up in to a senior level role. This position is remote with some travel as required.
Compensation: $200k - $250k + 25% bonus. Opportunity for equity long term.
Overview:
- Own and lead multiple building and campus level designs
- Be the point of contact for design partners
- Manage design timelines and schedule
- Construction Administration
- Project Feasibility and Diligence
- Partner Team Building – build relationships with Architectural and Engineering design consultants
Experience
- Familiarity with other engineering functions (Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Structural etc)
- Hand on experience with drafting and spatial analysis software
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Several years of Data Center Design Experience
- Drafting and/or BIM capabilities in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Experience with an Engineering firm, data center owner or hyperscaler background
