As a Security System Designer I, you will be responsible for the quality assurance and quality control of assigned design packages. In this fast-paced entry-level role, you will have the opportunity to support our Engineers and System Designers and learn all aspects of Physical Security design.

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Review and validate client project drawings for accuracy and ensure all QC checklist items are adhered to for each project deliverable.
• Incorporate feedback from the Engineer, System Designer II, and System Designer III for continuous improvement of drawing sets.

• Learn and develop a working knowledge of drafting/modeling of the security floor layouts for access control, video, and other various security systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and access control board layout drawings under the guidance of the Engineer, System Designer II, and System Designer III.

• Under the general supervision of the Lead System Design Engineer, support basic design tasks, develop basic security floor layouts, and prepare system drawings.
