We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist with strong hands‑on expertise in Ceridian Dayforce to support and enhance our payroll operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while serving as a subject‑matter expert for Dayforce functionality, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process multi‑state payroll on a weekly/bi‑weekly schedule using Ceridian Dayforce
• Maintain employee payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and tax with holdings
• Audit payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies before final submission
• Serve as the Dayforce expert for configuration questions, system issues, and process improvements
• Partner with HR and Finance to ensure alignment on payroll policies and reporting needs
• Prepare payroll reports for leadership, audits, and compliance reviews
• Monitor federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
• Support year‑end activities including W‑2s, tax filings, and reconciliations

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of payroll experience, with direct hands‑on use of Ceridian Dayforce
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, multi‑state taxation, and compliance requirements
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
