Commercial Loan Specialist

We’re seeking a detail‑oriented commercial loan specialist to support the servicing and maintenance of an active commercial loan portfolio. This role plays a key part in ensuring loan accuracy, documentation integrity, and risk mitigation while working closely with loan officers, portfolio managers, and internal stakeholders.

Operating with minimal supervision, this position offers hands‑on exposure to commercial loan documentation, servicing actions, audits, and system data management, making it a strong opportunity for professionals looking to grow within commercial banking.

• Support commercial loan servicing activities, including maturity extensions, entity or guarantor changes, collateral releases, assumptions, and other loan‑related actions
• Review, process, and track commercial loan documentation such as Promissory Notes, Loan Agreements, Mortgages, and SNDAs
• Upload, verify, and peer‑review loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance within internal systems
• Provide operational support to Commercial Lending Operations, including resolving internal inquiries, tracking activities, and preparing reports and metrics
• Assist with records management, loan file requests, and internal or external audits as needed
• Communicate with loan officers, portfolio managers, senior leadership, and other internal partners when issues require escalation or additional review

• High school diploma required
• 5+ years of experience in commercial loan servicing or related financial services roles with exposure to loan documentation review and loan closings
• Familiarity with commercial loan documentation and servicing processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce and GoDocs is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
