Job Purpose
Our team is looking for an experienced business-to-business Collections Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible to resolve customer billing problems and improve customer relationships.

- Reviewing open accounts for collection efforts.
- Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
- Resolving customer-billing problems and negotiating collection of accounts receivable delinquency.
- Collecting customer payments in accordance with payment terms.
- Identifying issues contributing to account delinquency and discussing them with management.
- Reviewing and monitoring assigned accounts in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
- Providing timely follow-up on payment arrangements.
- Processing payments from customers as needed.
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of corporate collections experience including interaction with a large customer base.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills required.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Access.

Physical Requirements
Typical 9-hour day to include reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting and carrying. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The heavy lifting of 50 lbs or more may be required.
