Associate - Enterprise Risk Management – Cantor Fitzgerald | Jacksonville, FL

Cantor Fitzgerald, together with its affiliates BGC Group and GFI Group, is a global leader in capital markets and financial services. We are looking for an Associate - Enterprise Risk Management to help embed our Operational Risk Framework and support the business in identifying, assessing, and managing operational risks. This role will work closely with colleagues across the front office, support functions, and senior stakeholders, providing hands-on assistance to ensure risk processes are consistently applied and understood.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the rollout of the Operational Risk Framework across Cantor Fitzgerald, BGC Group, and GFI Group.

- Support and help facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) workshops, guiding participants on operational risk fundamentals.

- Help expand RCSA coverage for front office teams.

- Work with the business to record, track, and follow up on operational risk events.

- Contribute to the implementation of new risk management technology and other ad-hoc projects.

- Partner with teams to help quantify operational risks.

- Monitor compliance with operational risk policies and procedures.

- Prepare reports and management information for risk committees, highlighting key issues and tracking remediation actions.

- Assist in delivering training and raising risk awareness across the business.

Skills & Experience

- 3–4 years of experience in operational or enterprise risk, preferably in financial services.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels.

- Understanding of capital markets operations and related operational risks (IT security, BCP, regulatory compliance).

- Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
