Document Administrator II at Bank of America

About the Role

Bank of America is guided by a common purpose to help make financial lives better through the power of every connection. In this position you will prepare and review documentation in accordance with bank policies and procedures to facilitate loan closings with the client. You will work on routine to more complex documentation, interface with company vendors, legal counsel, line partners and clients, and maintain the accuracy of documentation and system of record financial data.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure loan documentation and lien perfection meet bank policies and procedures, delivering work products accurately and timely.
  • Review documentation, perform due diligence and collateral perfection, and monitor loan documentation for a specific market segment.
  • Review documents for accuracy, timely delivery, and necessary research requirements to ensure documentation reflects the appropriate transactional information and eliminates controllable rework.
  • Review loan approval and loan documents prepared by counsel to ensure consistency and adherence to requirements.
  • Design a robust filing and organizational process to assist in completing primary financial booking and initial loan funding.
  • Work closely with Client Managers, Credit and Portfolio Officers, Agency Management, internal and external legal counsel, and many internal operational support units to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
Required Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with urgency.
  • Ability to professionally handle multiple tasks while balancing quality and efficiency in a fast‑paced, metric‑centric environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and One Note).
  • Strong organizational skills with time management and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Motivated, solution‑driven, and creative thinker.
  • Adapts to and embraces change in technology, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead and fosters teamwork and change.
Desired Skills
  • College degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge of LoanIQ, Hot Docs, and Credit Center.
  • Commercial real estate loan experience.
  • Paralegal experience is beneficial.
  • Comprehension of commercial credit operations.
  • Desire to take on leadership responsibilities and grow within the role.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
  • 1st shift (United States of America).
  • 40 hours per week.
