Position OverviewThe Equity Middle Office Analyst will support the day-to-day operations of the institutional equity trading business, helping ensure accurate trade processing and smooth front-to-back operational workflows. This is a client- and business-facing role that offers hands-on exposure to equity markets and close interaction with traders, sales teams, and external counter parties.
This position is ideal for a recent college graduate or early-career professional seeking to build a foundation in equity markets, trading operations, and financial services within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Core Responsibilities- Support front-to-back trade processing, including assisting with trade breaks, allocations, and settlement inquiries (training provided; familiarity with Fidessa is a plus)
- Work closely with traders, sales teams, and counter parties to help ensure accurate trade capture and timely resolution of discrepancies
- Monitor daily equity, ETF, and options trading activity across domestic and international markets
- Assist with operational support related to ADR conversions, preferred securities, Direct Market Access (DMA), and FX transactions
- Support DTC/NSCC settlement processing and collaborate with clearing teams to investigate and resolve exceptions
- Gain exposure to corporate actions and understand their impact on equity positions
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk within the Middle Office
- Provide ad hoc operational and analytical support to trading desks and management as needed

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Interest in equity markets, trading, and financial operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with trading or operations systems is a plus but not required
