Sr. Credit Analyst

Vaco is hiring for a large industry leader seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial credit, collections, accounts receivable, and financial analysis experience who enjoys working cross-functionally and making informed credit decisions.

• Review and analyze customer creditworthiness for new and existing accounts
• Investigate customer financial information and recommend appropriate credit limits
• Monitor, update, and maintain customer credit limits based on risk and market conditions
• Coordinate credit approvals and ensure customer limits are managed appropriately
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect past-due balances
• Analyze aging reports and identify collection risks
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and other departments to resolve credit-related issues
• Improve customer communication and help resolve payment concerns
• Utilize D&B and other commercial credit resources to evaluate customer risk
• Provide credit recommendations and account updates to internal stakeholders
• Manage collection agency relationships when necessary
• Assist with bankruptcy claims, legal documentation, and collection-related matters
• Maintain accurate customer credit files and supporting documentation
• Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in Credit, Collections, Accounts Receivable, or Credit Analysis
• Strong understanding of commercial credit, risk assessment, and receivables management
• Experience analyzing customer financial information and making credit recommendations
• Familiarity with D&B and other commercial credit reporting tools
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Proficient with Excel and financial systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
