Equity Portfolio Manager
100% Remote – Must be in the Northeast for occasional travel
$225K-250K + Bonus
Our client is seeking an Equity Portfolio Manager to lead the management of certain equity strategies. The PM will be responsible for investment decisions, portfolio construction, security selection, risk management, and overall portfolio performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong fundamental investment process and a demonstrated track record managing equity portfolios.
Responsibilities- Manage equity portfolios and make independent investment decisions across the portfolio.
- Conduct fundamental research and identify attractive companies based on financial performance, valuation, management, growth prospects, and competitive position.
- Develop and maintain portfolio construction, position sizing, and risk-management strategies.
- Monitor portfolio performance, market trends, company developments, and changes in the investment thesis.
- Work closely with equity research analysts and other investment professionals to generate and evaluate investment ideas.
- Communicate investment views, portfolio positioning, performance, and risk to senior management and clients.
- 7+ years of investment management experience with a focus on equities.
- Proven track record managing equity portfolios with strong investment performance.
- Deep understanding of fundamental equity research, valuation, portfolio construction, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. companies and equity markets.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
- CFA designation or advanced degree preferred.
