Our client is a private investment platform focused on frontier and strategic technologies, including critical minerals / rare earths, nuclear, batteries, defense technology, aerospace / space, quantum, advanced manufacturing and related industries.
We are seeking a senior deal originator who can identify proprietary investment and acquisition opportunities, build direct relationships with founders and CEOs, recognize differentiated IP and commercialization potential, and work with senior leadership from initial thesis through transaction, financing and long-term value creation.
Ideal background:- 10+ years in private equity, venture/growth equity, corporate development, strategic investments, investment banking or senior industry leadership
- Demonstrated record of personally sourcing investments, acquisitions or strategic transactions
- Strong founder / CEO network and ability to create opportunities before a formal sale process
- Deep understanding of capital markets, valuation, financing structures and public-market readiness
- Sector expertise in critical minerals, nuclear, defense, aerospace, batteries, quantum or advanced industrial technology
- Ability to assess both technical differentiation and commercial scalability
This is not a traditional corporate development role. The mandate combines:
Deal Origination + Strategic Investments + IP Commercialization + Capital Markets + Post-Investment GrowthCompensation:
Base approximately $250K-$325K
, substantial performance bonus, transaction-based incentives and meaningful long-term equity / deal participation.
