Physical Therapist Assistant – Visit PRN

Provides physical therapy patient treatment within the established plan of care and treatment protocols and under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Associate's Degree;
  Graduate from an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistant approved by the Council of Medical Education in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Necessary
  
  Skills:
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skill in a broad range of Physical Therapy treatment interventions.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills; proactive, positive approach to problem solving.
  • Demonstrates strong ability to use computer, Microsoft Office suite.
  • Able to work independently.
• Required Licensure/
  
  Certifications:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Florida.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Required Experience:
  
  less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (Acute, outpatient, etc.)
• Preferred Experience:
  
  Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services.
