Pharmacist – Full‑time Floater
Publix Pharmacy – Full‑time Floater position.
OverviewAs a Publix Pharmacy Associate, you’ll experience a patient‑centric environment with clinical services such as immunizations and medication therapy management. Responsibilities- Dedicated to overall pharmacy department success by executing strategy, motivating staff, and setting priorities.
- Provide best‑in‑class pharmacy service, empower staff, counsel patients, and promote loyalty.
- Mentor, train, and develop a high‑functioning pharmacy team.
- Inspire the team to achieve pharmacy department goals and empower accountability.
- Champion execution of programs, processes, and innovation.
- Manage performance, scheduling and task assignment to ensure operations run efficiently.
- Analyze metrics to maintain a competitive advantage and make sound business decisions as pharmacist‑in‑charge.
- Expertise in pharmacy technology and prescription processing.
- Optimize medication inventory and pharmacy operations.
- Advise on best practices to maximize sales and minimize shrink.
- Advance clinical initiatives such as medication therapy management and immunizations.
- Participate in community events (health screenings, immunizations).
- Maintain a flexible work week to meet customer needs.
- Assist in all other duties as assigned.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Graduate of a school of pharmacy.
- Unrestricted, state pharmacist license.
- No active suspensions, sanctions, or restrictions related to private, federal or state health insurance programs upon hire and thereafter.
- No unacceptable result on a company‑sponsored drug test within the last three years.
- Immunizing pharmacist or scheduled to become one.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret instructions and solve problems.
- Numerical and financial aptitude.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control.
