Responsibilities
Wekliva Springs Center, a Psychiatric Hospital, is seeking highly hospitable RN’s in the Jacksonville, Florida area to care for patients. The position is a limited schedule designed to last 14 weeks, with a possible extension of an additional 13 weeks. It offers higher pay but no benefits and remains full‑time.
Day and night shift coverage from 7:00 – 7:30 am is needed. Candidates who keep calm under pressure and smile in tough times are sought.
Wekiva Springs Behavioral Health Center’s mission is to provide quality, compassionate care for addiction and mental health conditions. The center offers inpatient mental health and addiction services for adults and older adults with multidisciplinary treatments including medical and psychiatric evaluations, nutritional education, family and group therapy, medication management, and discharge planning.
Qualifications- Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
- Current Florida RN license.
- One year of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric or addiction settings; consideration for new graduates with a desire to specialize in psychiatric nursing.
- Home health and skilled nursing home experience is welcome.
