Pharmacy Technician
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32257
Duration: 3 months (possible contract to hire)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours per week: 40 hours
Salaray Range: $23.00/hr – $24.00/hr
Position Background: Sterile compounding experience preferred but not required. Must hold a Florida licensed pharmacy technician license for at least 1 year.
What does this position accomplish?Pharmacy technician focused on production and labeling.
Key Responsibilities- Label sterile compounded products.
- Prepare non‑compounded medication for shipment to patients.
- Maintain accurate inventory and track product accountability.
- Assist in sterile compounding procedures following USP guidelines.
- Document medication orders and deliverables in the pharmacy information system.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely fulfillment of prescriptions.
- Support regulatory inspections and audits.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in labeling and compounding.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- 1+ years of pharmacy technician licensure.
- Retail pharmacy experience acceptable.
- Detail oriented.
- Critical thinking abilities.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical terminology.
- Punctuality.
- Strong work ethic.
Floral Pharmacy Technician license required.
