- Centralized pharmacist duties in Mayo 1 Hospital Pharmacy, including distribution, consultation, drug therapy monitoring, education, and supervisory functions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.) degree or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience includes Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pharmacy and at least two years of relevant pharmacy practice experience.
- PGY1 Residency completion and at least 1-year experience in Hospital Pharmacy Practice highly preferred.
- Experience and/or interest in teaching highly preferred.
- Experience working in a progressive academic medical center’s Institutional / Hospital Pharmacy practice.
- Demonstration of leadership and team building skills.
- History of scholarly activities including publication and scientific meeting presentations.
- Commitment to excellence, accuracy, attention to detail and teamwork.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively with others, organize time well, solve problems, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Current Florida pharmacist license or eligible to obtain within 60 days of state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire.
- Exemption Status:
Exempt - Compensation: $59,000 - $89,500 annually at a 0.5 FTE
- Schedule:
Part Time - Hours/Pay Period: 40
- Schedule Details:
Primarily day shift with every third weekend rotation. - International Assignment:
