Hospital Housekeeper, Environmental Services, PRN, Days, Baptist South

Baptist Health is looking to add a Hospital Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Shift Details

PRN (as needed), Days, 7:00am - 3:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays

Location

Baptist South — 14550 Old St. Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32258

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes areas such as offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas
• Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements
• Maintains friendly and professional attitude
• Follows safety and security protocols
• May perform other duties as required

Technology / Equipment

Baptist Health utilizes UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines. These machines break down the DNA of germs in the hospital environment before manual cleaning of an area is performed, helping protect team members and patients.

Education Preferred

High School Diploma/GED

Experience

• 1-2 years Environmental Services Experience
