EEG Seizure Monitoring Technologist

We are looking to add a Seizure Monitoring Technologist at Baptist Medical Center, located in Downtown Jacksonville, FL.

As the Seizure Monitoring Technologist, you will provide a 24-hour visual monitoring, and subsequent intervention when indicated, of seizure patients in the Neuro ICU and EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) via remote video system. You will also maintain components of the monitoring system and communicate with staff and members of the Comprehensive Epilepsy team assigned to a patient regarding the patient's seizure status.

• Maintaining expertise in clinical and electrical seizure identification, management, and documentation
• Reporting to the Baptist Neurology Neurodiagnostic Manager
• Being a member of the multidisciplinary team caring for patients with epilepsy
• Monitoring in-patient Video EEG for an uninterrupted, clean recording.

• Education Required

  High School Diploma/GED
• Preferred Education
  :
  Bachelor's Degree
• Experience
  : 1-2 years LTM/EEG Monitoring Required
• License and Certification
  :
  Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) Required, Registered in Continuous Long Term Monitoring (CLTM) Preferred
