Job Summary

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in our Ultrasound Department at Baptist ED Town Center. This is a PRN role with various shift opportunities. At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Medical Sonographers provide exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high‑quality ultrasound examinations, assisting physicians, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients (both adults and pediatrics) in a hospital setting.

Eligible for up to $1,500 sign‑on bonus.

• Perform high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Promote goodwill among co‑workers and other departments and exhibit a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Comply with mandatory education and health requirements.

• Must pass certification in Sonography from ARDMS or ARRT (S) within 18 months of hire date.
• Pediatric and ED experience preferred.

• Vocational School – required.
• Associate’s Degree – preferred.

• 1–2 years working in a hospital setting.
• 1–2 years in hospital‑based, department‑specific work.
• Ultrasound experience.
• Experience with vascular ultrasound.
• Customer service experience.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
• Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) – required or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer ARDMS – required or
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) – preferred or
• Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) – preferred.
