- Provide patient care for patients receiving dialysis treatments.
- Perform direct patient care under RN supervision.
- Operate dialysis equipment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a PCT training program or at least one‑year experience in hemodialysis.
- Experience in hemodialysis preferred.
- Experienced dialysis technician: CCHT certification required at time of hire.
- No previous dialysis experience: need prior medical/surgical experience and dialysis certification obtained within 18 months of hire.
- Credit for previous PCT, MA, or phlebotomy experience for those with internal experience only.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Positive and professional interpersonal skills with ability to cooperate with others.
- Basic computer skills; training for electronic medical record (EMR), Internet Explorer, and electronic timekeeping.
- Ability to flex hours to meet clinical demands or take calls if required.
- Physical requirements as outlined by Employee Health Physical Assessment Form.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Certification required as a Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) or Clinical Hemodialysis Technician Advanced (CCHT‑A) within 18 months of hire.
Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
Schedule- Full Time
- Monday‑Friday; 8:00 am–8:30 pm, days vary.
- Weekend
Schedule:
Every 3rd Saturday. - Hours/Pay Period: 72.
