Phlebotomist Part‑Time – Jacksonville

Labcorp is looking for a dedicated Phlebotomist to provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and serve as the face of the company at either a Patient Service Center or a Client office.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Carry out administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program; previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Part‑time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan only. PSTs may be eligible for a PST incentive plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
