Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr.

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, efficient checkout service.
• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision with prescription processing, including the use of pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, count, weigh, and dispense medications accurately.
• Provide customer service in various areas of the store (OTC aisle, photo area, special departments) ensuring safe product placement, clean counters, and inventory accuracy.
• Handle telephone calls that do not require pharmacist attention, including physician calls.
• Enter and verify prescription information in the pharmacy system, check for interactions, and report errors promptly.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, the Walgreen Co. Pharmacy Code of Conduct, and Good Faith Dispensing policies.
• Assist with inventory management activities such as ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Support the Pharmacy Department and Store Manager with clerical duties as assigned.

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state required certification/registration.
• Attend training and complete continuing education credits as required.

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Computer proficiency and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification.
