Full‑time Level II Eddy Current Technician for MISTRAS Group, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL.

Responsibilities- Set up and calibrate NDT equipment.
- Conduct NDT tests using appropriate techniques (UT, RT, MT, PT).
- Interpret, evaluate and document test results.
- Be familiar with method scope, limitations, and codes, standards and contracts.
- Work with minimal supervision and resolve problems promptly.
- Analyze information skillfully and present numerical data effectively.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT‑TC1A for one or all of the following: UT, RT, MT, PT.
- Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one year experience, or Level I technician with adequate field experience to certify to Level II per SNT‑TC1A standards on one or more of: UT, RT, MT, PT.
- Industrial Radiographers Certification Card preferred (required for radiography positions).
- Completion of a 40‑hour Radiation Safety Course preferred (required for radiography positions).
- Competencies:
problem solving, oral communication, written communication, interpersonal skills, planning/organization, adaptability, dependability, quality, safety.
- Outdoor field duties in a plant atmosphere.
- Interaction with crew, supervisors and clients.
- Exposure to extreme plant noise levels.
- Physically fit to carry 50 lb frequently and to wear safety equipment.
- May travel out of town periodically.
- May work at more than one jobsite in a day and tolerate climate changes.
- Frequently lift and carry 50 lb.
- Clear speech and hearing for effective communication.
- Vision or other powers of observation for investigations.
- Manual dexterity for routine office duties.
- Personal mobility to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment.
- Access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
