Position Summary:

Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for our Diagnostic Breast Center at the Baptist MD Anderson location. This is a PRN opportunity with various shifts. Eligible candidates may receive a sign‑on bonus up to $1,500.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Promote a positive, comforting demeanour with all patients and foster good relationships with co‑workers and other departments.
• Maintain compliance with mandatory education and health requirements.

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s degree in sonography or completion of a vocational school program.
• 1–2 years of hospital‑based ultrasound experience (including vascular ultrasound).
• Experience with pediatric or emergency department settings preferred.
• Customer‑service experience – highly valued.

Licensing and Certification:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT(S) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) required;
  Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or ARRT(VS) preferred.
• Must obtain completion of ARDMS or ARRT certification within 18 months of hire.
