Clinical Pharmacist, Hospital at Home, Baptist Health

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking for a licensed Pharmacist to join our Hospital at Home team in Baptist Downtown. This is a full‑time position (Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑4:30 PM) that involves checking patient orders, authorizations, dispensing medications, supervising technicians, and consulting with medical staff on medication regimens. The role offers autonomy to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Entering orders with great accuracy.
• Checking technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervising technicians and serving on committees as assigned.
• Answering questions for all health care professionals.
• Consulting for members of the medical staff.
• Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services.

Qualifications

• Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree (Pharmacy)
• Preferred Education: Doctorate
• Experience: 1‑2 years Hospital Pharmacy Experience
• 1‑2 years Experience with Automated Dispensing Devices
• Residency Training
• Experience with Pharmacy Information Systems
• License & Certification: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required
• Registered Pharmacist – Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Licensed Pharmacist – Required
• Requirements: Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Florida;
  In‑Patient Hospital Pharmacy experience; IV Room/Infusion experience and PGY1 preferred.
