Front Desk Coordinator, Physicians Practice

Join a friendly and collaborative team, working alongside multiple employees to provide superior patient care in a physician practice. Brooks Physician Practice is a multi discipline outpatient facility.

Responsibilities
:

• Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
• Answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.
• Greet vendors and accept deliveries.
• Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
• Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
• Collects and posts charges and payments according to protocols, prepares and balances daily financial registers.
• Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
• Verifying patient insurance eligibility.
• Submit outgoing referrals/orders submitted by physicians.
• Monitor and triage incoming faxes
• Be prompt, reliable, and dependable
• Excellent Customer Service
• Able to be flexible and adaptable
• Have proper phone etiquette.
• Able to multitask within the office.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• EMR experience
• Customer service experience
• Insurance knowledge
• Previous physician office experience is preferred
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
