Part‑time, Friday through Monday. Four‑hour shifts: 6:15 am–10:15 am or 3:15 pm–7:15 pm. Further details upon interview.

Fixed Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary
Responsible for securing patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face‑to‑face interactions.

• Follows proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
• Offers alternatives to menu options for prescribed diets, accommodating food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Responds to patients' needs at all times, resolving concerns or complaints immediately and reporting assistance to supervisor as appropriate.
• Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within diet order limitations.
• Interacts with nursing to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate and food needs are met.
• Adheres to facility confidentiality and patients' rights policies, including HIPAA procedures.
• Complies with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety of the food supply.
• Completes all daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies and procedures, meeting all prescribed deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prior call center, nutrition, or dietary experience required.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.
