Overview
Baptist Health is looking for a Sterile Processing Educator to support our Sterile Processing Teams at Baptist Jacksonville. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities- Reports to the Vice President of Patient Care Services, in collaboration with Sterile Processing leadership
- Designs, plans, and manages education programs, competency assessments, and training coordination for the Sterile Processing departments across the Baptist Health System
- Ensures all initiatives are in alignment with the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) standards
- Acts as a resource for all educational efforts related to sterile processing
Required:
High School Diploma/GED
Bachelor's Degree
Experience- Over 5 years Surgical Technologist Experience Required
- 1-2 years Supervisory Experience Required
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) - Required
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Preferred
