Baptist Health is seeking to add a Registered Respiratory Therapist to Town Center. This is a PRN shift opportunity. As a Respiratory Therapist you will assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory or breathing disorders. Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapy treatments, performing diagnostic pulmonary function tests, managing and monitoring mechanical ventilators, and providing patient education and respiratory care support. You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with breathing disorders.
• Administer respiratory therapies.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and manage mechanical ventilators for patients requiring respiratory support.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and support on proper breathing techniques, medication usage, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient assessments, treatments, and progress documentation.

Vocational School;
Associate’s Degree preferred.

• 2 years Respiratory Therapy Experience Required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required;
  Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist Preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Preferred or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred.
