Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Paramedic for our Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL. This full‑time, night‑shift position supports patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

• Assisting RNs in providing care to patients with urgent and emergent healthcare needs.
• Supporting activities of daily living and maintaining a safe patient environment.
• Collecting and labeling lab specimens accurately.
• Monitoring and recording patient intake and output.
• Documenting all patient care and observations in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and high‑quality patient care.

• High School Diploma/GED (required)
• Associate's Degree (preferred)
• Less than 1 year Hospital Experience (required)
• Less than 1 year Transport Medicine Setting Experience (required)
• Less than 1 year Patient Care Experience (required)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
• Incident Command System (ICS) 300, 400 (preferred)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
• Licensed Registered Paramedic (required)
