Job Summary
Baptist Health is seeking a Paramedic for our Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL. This full‑time, night‑shift position supports patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities- Assisting RNs in providing care to patients with urgent and emergent healthcare needs.
- Supporting activities of daily living and maintaining a safe patient environment.
- Collecting and labeling lab specimens accurately.
- Monitoring and recording patient intake and output.
- Documenting all patient care and observations in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and high‑quality patient care.
- High School Diploma/GED (required)
- Associate's Degree (preferred)
- Less than 1 year Hospital Experience (required)
- Less than 1 year Transport Medicine Setting Experience (required)
- Less than 1 year Patient Care Experience (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
- Incident Command System (ICS) 300, 400 (preferred)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
- Licensed Registered Paramedic (required)
