We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The role includes a range of clinical and administrative responsibilities essential to the smooth operation of the practice.

• Interview patients, measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height) and record information on patient charts.
• Perform venipunctures, collect routine laboratory specimens as directed by the physician, perform basic laboratory procedures, administer basic first aid, and assist with or perform aseptic procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
• Drape patients and position instruments and equipment.
• Clean and sterilize instruments.
• Inventory and order medical supplies and materials.
• Operate x‑ray, electrocardiograph (EKG); may perform other tests if trained (Holter monitors, nerve conduction studies, PFT).
• Give injections or treatments, and perform routine laboratory tests if trained.
• Schedule appointments, receive payments, maintain x‑ray and other medical records, perform secretarial tasks, and complete appropriate forms.
• Key data accurately into computer to maintain office and patient records with no errors.
• Keep charts prepared and ready for physicians and patients.
• Maintain high level of confidentiality and be flexible to schedule changes, including early/late hours as required.
• Provide exemplary patient experience for all patients.
• Abide by established company Standards of Behavior.
• May also perform front‑office duties at the direction of practice leadership.
