* Baptist Heart Specialists is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Baptist South Cardiology Dept. located in Jacksonville, FL.This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 8:00A-4:30P.The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, administering EKGs, and assisting the provider. This candidate must be open to traveling to other locations. Mileage reimbursement is available.

Medical Assistant,

Job Responsibilities:

Provides medical assistance to physicians

Obtains vital signs

Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit

Maintains medical documentation

Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician

Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:2+ years Patient Care Experience Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:
