Ultrasound Technologist

Diagnostic Sonographer specializing in advanced ultrasound imaging in outpatient and inpatient settings.

• Perform high-quality, complex ultrasound exams including abdominal, vascular, small parts, and OB/GYN.
• Assist in invasive procedures and intraoperative cases with a team approach.
• Interpret sonograms, exercise independent judgment, and communicate preliminary findings to physicians.
• Ensure accuracy of imaging orders, integrate medical history, clinical data, and patient symptoms.
• Maintain sterile techniques, procedural setup, specimen handling, and patient monitoring.
• Participate in research, incorporate new technology, and ensure workflow efficiency and equipment maintenance.
• Mentor students and staff, collaborate in team projects, and contribute to process improvements and research efforts.
• Adhere to safety protocols and uphold professional standards of teamwork, professionalism, and patient advocacy.

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program and/or ARDMS registered or eligible.
• Preferred one year of sonography experience; associate degree or higher preferred.
• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 18 months of employment; certifications renewed every 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
