POSITION

SUMMARY

As the recruiting and onboarding specialist, you will strategically and proactively source active and passive candidates to build and maintain a quality talent pipeline for current and future workforce needs. This position performs full-cycle recruitment activities, the onboarding process, and other projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to determine hiring needs.
  • Draft and update job descriptions.
  • Use web-based technology to post positions, track the hiring process, and analyze hiring trends.
  • Conduct pre-screening calls to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers.
  • Extend offers to candidates and handle negotiations appropriately.
  • Conduct reference and background checks on applicants. Facilitate the drug testing process.
  • Coordinate first-day/orientation details, onboarding process, and Paycor profile for new hires.
  • Ensure new hires have the necessary IT setup (hardware, software, credentials), uniforms, and badge.
  • Ensure all new hire paperwork is complete, including I-9 documentation.
  • Manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure that fair employment practices are followed.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Must have at least two years of experience working as a recruiter in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience in negotiation and making compensation recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to employment.
  • ATS system experience is required. Paycor knowledge is a plus.
  • HRIS experience required. Paycor knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Ability to see within normal parameters.
  • Ability to hear within normal range.
  • Ability to use hands, arms, and legs within the specifications of the job.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
