We are supporting a growing, global organization in Jacksonville that is seeking a Senior HR Generalist / HR Operations professional to serve as the primary onsite HR owner
.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on, operating with autonomy, and improving day‑to‑day HR processes in a lean environment. The organization is going through internal change and is looking for an HR professional who can stabilize operations, support employees, and reduce manual work.

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for onsite employees
• Own day‑to‑day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations support, and policy administration
• Review and coordinate payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in partnership with payroll providers or finance
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Support performance review cycles, compensation processes, and internal audits
• Draft and distribute internal HR communications as needed
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows and reduce manual processes
Partner closely with leadership during organizational changes and transitions

We are looking for a senior, operational HR Generalist who has:

• Experience serving as the sole or primary HR owner for a site or business unit
• Hands‑on ownership of HR operations with minimal oversight
• Payroll exposure (reviewing, validating, and coordinating payroll - not necessarily running payroll end‑to‑end)
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced or evolving environment
• A practical, solution‑oriented mindset with interest in process improvement and efficiency
• Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable presence

• 4–8 years of progressive HR experience
• Payroll exposure required (Paylocity, ADP, or similar systems preferred)
• Experience working onsite and directly supporting employees
• Comfortable using HRIS systems and modern workplace tools
• Ability to operate independently with sound judgment
