Human Resources Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a proactive HR Coordinator to support employee relations and safety initiatives in a fast‑paced marine manufacturing environment. This role serves as a key liaison between employees, HR leadership, and EHS teams to promote a positive, compliant, and productive workplace.

This is a six month contract with ample opportunity to be hired on permanently. Please note that the working environment is a shipyard. The HR office is an air conditioned trailer. The HR Coordinator must be comfortable working at a shipyard.

$28.00/hr - $32.00/hr

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries and day‑to‑day support
• Partner with EHS teams to reinforce safety programs and regulatory compliance
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and sensitive HR matters
• Address and resolve employee conflicts using sound judgment and best practices
• Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment on HR initiatives and workforce needs

• 1+ years of HR or employee relations experience in manufacturing, industrial, or similar environments
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills
• Working knowledge of workplace safety/EHS practices
• High attention to detail with demonstrated discretion and professionalism
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality
