JEA is seeking motivated students for our 2027 Summer Internship Program. This paid opportunity offers hands‑on experience in key HR functions while you build professional skills and connect with industry mentors.
What You’ll Potentially Do:- Support projects in Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Learning & Development, or HR Information Systems
- Contribute to meaningful HR initiatives that impact the business
- Gain exposure to HR operations and professional development opportunities
- Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in:
- Human Resources or Business Administration
- Psychology
- Communications
- Data Analytics *
- 3.0 GPA or higher (transcript required)
- Ability to work 32 hours/week between May and August (Jacksonville, FL)
Applicants should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn HR systems.
The starting salary for professional positions will be determined based on education, licenses, certifications, skills, experience, and alignment with salaries for similar roles within the organization.
