Service Now Consulting Manager – Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) In the digital economy, upgrading outdated processes, systems and information is vital – and can be a risky investment in a rapidly changing environment. The opportunity You’ll lead Service Now Transformation teams in a rapidly growing area of the business. It’s a client-visible role with opportunities to motivate and develop your team, establish and maintain client relationships, and grow your consulting and leadership skills while delivering valuable experiences across borders.
In this role, you will identify and define user/customer requirements and focus on developing user interfaces (UI) across platforms including mobile, web, and tablets. You will engage in coding, programming, and creating specifications to deliver development services aligned with business requirements.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Lead workstream delivery and ensure effective management of processes and solutions.
- Track deliverable completion and project status, ensuring alignment with performance objectives.
- Actively participate in client working sessions, leading work streams from planning through execution and closure.
- Engagement or workstream lead across all aspects of Service Now SPM projects and solution delivery (design, configuration/development, testing, deployment).
- Ability to manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of 5-10+ resources including offshore resources.
- Ability to build and foster client relationships and demonstrate the value of EY services.
- Excellent business acumen with the ability to make fact-based decisions and resolve conflicts.
- Provide guidance and industry-leading practice expertise for Service Now SPM implementations.
- Ability to analyze a company’s people, process, and technology capabilities and contribute insights to strategic roadmaps.
- Ability to lead client process and design sessions and facilitate requirements workshops.
- Experience in waterfall and agile delivery models, including planning, status reporting, budgets and risk/issue logs.
- Ability to support pre-sales efforts including creating proposals and estimates.
- Ability to create high-quality deliverables and project artifacts.
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering or similar discipline
- Typically 4–6 years of relevant Service Now SPM project experience
- Service Now Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management
- 5+ years of Big 4 or equivalent consulting experience
- Excellent soft skills – executive communication, adaptability, problem solving, teamwork, relationship building, dependability, and organization
- Experience leading teams and supervising others
- Driver’s license valid in the U.S.
- Ability to travel to meet client needs
- Service Now Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM or Data Foundations
- Performance analytics and reporting experience – certifications are a plus
- Experience in Service Now’s AI solutions (e.g., Now Assist, Agentic, AI Control Tower)
